West Virginia attorneys must complete 24 CLE hours, including 3 hours of legal ethics, office management, substance abuse, or elimination of bias. 

Up to 12 hours may be completed via pre-recorded programs. 

West Virginia attorneys must complete their CLE requirement by June 30th every 2 years on even-numbered years. 

West Virginia attorneys cannot carry over CLE credits into the next reporting period.

West Virginia attorneys have until July 1st of every even-numbered year to report their CLE hours earned through the West Virginia State Bar's online membership portal (mywvbar.org).
