24 self-study credit hours can be earned online with on-demand courses.

North Dakota attorneys may carry over a maximum of 12 CLE credits to the next three-year reporting period, but no ethics credits may be carried forward.

North Dakota attorneys report CLE credits by completing the State Bar Association of North Dakota's (SBAND) Report of Compliance form, typically mailed in May, certifying their 45 total credits (including 3 ethics) earned by the June 30 deadline within their three-year cycle, with an official reporting deadline of July 31.
Attorneys must keep certificates of attendance and can self-report online sooner by entering course IDs, with specific rules for self-study hours and carry-forwards.
