Kentucky requires attorneys to complete a total of 12 CLE credit hours each year. The 12 KYCLE hours must include at least 2 hours of Ethics courses. 

Kentucky attorneys must complete their MCLE requirement by June 30th of each year.

Kentucky attorneys may carry over excess CLE credits—up to 24 credits (including 4 ethics credits) into the next two reporting years.

Kentucky attorneys will self-report their CLE credits using the online portal here.

The deadline to report is August 10.
