NEW Biennial System (Effective Jan 1, 2026)

18 CLE hours over two years (e.g., 2026-2027), including at least 3 hours Ethics and 2 hours Professionalism.

Please Note: Trial Skills are no longer required for trial attorneys. 

December 31st each year

Effective Jan 1, 2026, all 18 required hours (3 Ethics, 2 Professionalism) can be carried forward from the prior period if earned, and the trial skills requirement is gone. 

Georgia attorneys have until January 31st to report their CLE hours before the end of the previous year.
