12 hours each year, including

• 3 hours of Mandatory Ethics Continuing Legal Education (MECLE)

• 9 hours of Voluntary Continuing Legal Education (VCLE)

December 31st each year

Alaska attorneys can carry over a maximum of 12 unused CLE credits to the next reporting period, which must include up to 3 ethics credits.

Alaska attorneys have until February 1st to report their CLE hours earned before the end of the previous year.

Credits must be reported through the Alaska Bar Association's member portal.
