December 31st each year

12 hours each year, including:

• 1 hour of ethics or professionalism

• at least 6 hours live courses

• on-demand courses may fill the remaining hours

Alabama attorneys may carry over up to 12 credits, including 1 ethics credit, into the next reporting period.

Writing for Lawyers will report your CLE credits to the Alabama State Bar. Credits will appear on your transcript within 30 days of completion.
