12 hours each year, including:

• 1 hour of ethics or professionalism

• at least 6 hours live courses

• on-demand courses may fill the remaining hours

December 31st each year

Alabama attorneys may carry over up to 12 credits, including 1 ethics credit, into the next reporting period.

To report your CLE credits to the Alabama State Bar, use the online portal to manually enter the details and Course IDs for courses you've completed.
